Lawrence & Schiller Puts 16 New “Boots” on the Ground

I’m very happy to introduce the largest “recruiting class” we’ve ever had at Lawrence & Schiller. Sixteen people have joined the agency during the past 45 days – seven full time employees and nine interns. That’s a 31% increase in staff!

We’re hiring for three reasons.

1. Legacy Clients
   We have the privilege of working with several market leaders across a variety of industries. As their businesses grow, we need to grow to continue supporting their marketing needs.
2. New Clients
   Robust new business activities have added 12 new clients within the past six months.
3. Political Clients
   Lawrence & Schiller is gearing up for what looks to be a very busy 2014 election cycle.

This is an exciting time at L&S. Work spaces are filled. Teams are tackling assignments with renewed energy. And we’re well positioned to continue growing with a great group of clients.

	Asa Ashraf – Director of Digital Development Asa is a Sioux Falls native and a graduate of South Dakota State University. He worked at EROS Data Center/USGS for six years prior to joining L&S.
	Mindy Gross – Media Strategist Mindy is a graduate of South Dakota State University and currently resides in Sioux Falls. She brings six years of agency experience to Lawrence & Schiller.
	Heidi Beck – Designer Heidi worked as web designer and artist for various firms before joining L&S. She is originally from Crooks, received her undergraduate degree from SDSU and is currently a graduate student at USD.
	Josh Sickmeyer – Interactive Programmer Josh joins L&S by way of EROS Data Center/USGS  where he was as a software engineer. He lives in Adrian, Minn.  and is a graduate of Southwest Minnesota State University.
	Lindsey Claussen – Media Specialist Lindsey brings more than two years of professional experience to L&S. She grew up in Brookings and graduated from Saint Cloud State.
	Sarah Synders – Production Artist Originally from Larchwood, Iowa, Sarah has joined L&S  as a full-time Production Artist. A graduate of Southeast Technical Institute, Snyders has had artist experience at Spark Letterpress and AlphaGraphics. Snyders also displays and sells her paintings at HGS Gallery in Luverne, Minn.
	Sam Gotham – Finance Specialist Sam has joined Lawrence & Schiller as a Finance Specialist. He is from Eden Prairie, Minn., and recently graduated from Augustana College. Gotham has previous finance experience working for Sioux Falls technology and technology manufacturing startups.
	Samantha Drake – Digital Strategy Intern Samantha is originally from Murray, Neb., and is a recent graduate of the University of South Dakota. Drake has worked as a public relations and advertising manager for small businesses, a freelance graphic designer and an intern at Hungry Fish Media in Boston, Mass.
	Amanda Connelly – Digital Design Intern Amanda is from Elk Point and is a recent graduate of the University of South Dakota. She worked at USD’s campus newspaper, the Volante, as a graphic designer and interned at a print shop in South Sioux City, Neb.
	Joe Schaeffer – Digital Design Intern Joe is from Sioux Falls and is a recent graduate of the University of South Dakota. He has previous design experience working at USD Creative Services.
	Brittany Zollner – Digital Design Intern Brittany joins L&S from Marshall, Minn. She is a new graduate of South Dakota State University. She has previously worked as a Creative Design student at Daktronics in Brookings.
	Kilee Kading – Consumer Insights Intern Kilee is from Sioux Falls and recently graduated from Augustana College. Kading has been an intern for a variety of organizations including the American Coalition for Ethanol, Avera McKennan Hospital and 605 Magazine.
	Travis Loof – Consumer Insights Intern Travis joins L&S from Watertown. He is a graduate of the University of South Dakota and is currently working toward his masters in Communication Studies at USD.
	Jodi Stahl – Public Relations Intern Jodi is from Bridgewater and attends Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. She has previously worked as an intern for Congresswoman Kristi Noem and a freelance writer for the Public Relations Department at Northwestern College.
	Jake Shama – Public Relations Intern Jake Shama is currently a student at Augustana College. Originally from Rapid City, he has been involved in PRSSA at Augustana College, and he also was the advertising manager for the Augustana College newspaper.
	Patrick Brende – Account Service Intern Patrick Brende is a Sioux Falls native and a student at Augustana College. He has previously interned at Lifetouch Church Directories and Portraits as the sales and marketing intern.
